Treatment Room

The treatment rooms are staffed by our Nursing Sisters and Phlebotomist(Health Care Assistant) throughout the day, appointments may be made at reception.

They undertake a full range of nursing services which include:

General Duties

Blood Tests (Clinics run each morning from 8.30 - 11.00 by our Health care Assistant Mon -Thurs and one of our Nurses on Fri)

Blood Pressure Checks (can be carried out by our Health care Assistant)

Dressings
Ear syringes (please apply drops or oil for 3-4 days prior th the appt)

Minor Accidents

Suturing

Travel

Advice and Vaccinations

Doctor Referrals

ECG (Also done by Health care Assistant)
Lung Function Tests
Audiogram
Back and Neck Excercises
 

Health Promotion Clinics / Chronic Disease Management

We have a variety of clinics held at the surgery to both screen and monitor certain conditions.  These include:

 Asthma

 Diabetes

 Coronary Heart Disease 

Hypertension

 Arthritis

 Lifestyle Advice

 Well Man/Well Woman

 Menopause/HRT

 Smoking Cessation

An appointment can be made at reception for these clinics.

You may be sent a letter if you are due for a screening or your Doctor wishes for you to have a health check.

Child Immunisations

Family Planning

A comprehensive Family Planning advice is offered by our Doctors and Practice Nurses.
For an initial consultation please make an appointment with your own GP, when appropriate follow up appointments can be made with the Practice Nurse.

Maternity Services

All our GP's provide Maternity care in conjunction with the Community Midwife.  The Midwife can be contacted via Waterlooville Health Centre (023 9224 0340)
We provide continued care from the booking stage, throughout the pregnancy and the post-natal period.  Maternity related forms and leaflets can be obtained either from the surgery or from the Midwife. 

Baby Clinic
(Baby Clinics are held on a Thursday 9 - 11am)

Our Health Visitors are able to give advice on child care and discuss any concerns or questions you may have.
Children are automatically sent appointments for their immunisations via the School health department and are given by our Practice Nurses at the surgery.
If you have any doubts or concerns regarding these vaccinations, the Health Visitors or Practice Nurses will be able to help.

There are Baby changing facilities for your use, within the Practice.

Community Health

We have a team of District Nurses & Health Visiting Staff who can be contacted via the Community Health Office (023) 9225 7114
